By
adding movement and music to treatment sessions and supporting
it in daily routines, children and adults alike can engage
in the learning process of self discovery and personal
confidence building. In today's schools and in the work
environment, opportunities for movement have been replaced
with more cognitive learning and stationary work situations.
Individuals are being deprived of the opportunity to
enjoy and appreciate themselves through movement while
also engaging in learning, working and social interaction.
This workshop will explore ways to use movement and music
in treatment and to support healthy learning and living
through movement.
• Bring a therapy/exercise ball, if possible.
•
Wear comfortable clothing-movement is a must!
