Brain Gym ® 101 - Day 2 & 3

This course is offered for 1.6 ASHA CEUs (Introductory Level, Related Area)

8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Brain Gym program is a movement based educational model addressing the physical skills of learning. This course applies “The 26” movements inside a Five Step Learning Process that includes pre- and post-activities as well as goal setting. The course explores the academic areas of seeing/reading, listening/memory, writing, accessing the midfield, communication, organization, comprehension, attitude, focus, centering, and laterality. Brain Gym is applicable for all ages and abilities.

Participants MUST have completed the Intro to Brain Gym workshop by presenter, Cindy Goldade.
• The Brain Gym® 101 Handbook and materials fee: $60.00

Objectives: Participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate ten different balances using the Five Step Learning Process.
2. Apply the 26 Brain Gym Movements & Dennison Laterality Repatterning for seeing, listening, writing, midfield, organization, communication, comprehension, attitude and more, along with combinations of the above efficiently and with flexibility.
3. Describe the Dynamic Brain & its relationship to the Three Dimensions of Laterality, Centering and Focus.
4. Participants will use goal setting and the balance process to reach personal and professional goals.
5. Create implementation plans of how to integrate this into their existing case loads and lessons.
